Eclisse, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965, won the Compasso d'Oro in 1967 and has become the representative of Italian design worldwide. Eclisse is an avant-garde balance of form and function, design and utility. The basis of the concept is in its ability to adjust the light intensity with its internal rotating lamp shade that 'eclipses' the light source.
