Antonio Seguí is an artist and collector, born on 11 January 1934, in Córdoba, Argentina.
Born into a family of wealthy merchants, he lives and works between France and Córdoba, Argentina.
A prolific artist, painter, sculptor, engraver, illustrator, he is also a collector of Primitive Art. Antonio Seguí represented Argentina at the Paris Biennale in 1963. Often associated with the Figuration Narrative movement, he describes himself as an independent artist.
Well known in Latin America, his work was revealed in Europe on the occasion of the 3rd Paris Biennial in 1963. This was followed by exhibitions in the world's major museums.
A retrospective of his works on paper was held in 2005 at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
